Mirror, mirror on the wall... Who am I?

Dear Future Husband

If I could make my very own husband  he would be “perfect!!!” my own definition of perfect in this case is  a guy who is a bit tall, dark  and with a look that’s gentle on the eyes He would also be very principled, hardworking spontaneous, easy going and caring. Most of us guys and girls have this checklist when we want to date or even get to know someone better and when the person doesn’t meet up we “unconsciously” cancel them out.
In my own opinion one cannot really find a perfect person in this world because we are all human and have our series of imperfections, the best we can get is close to perfection or better still the one that seems perfect to us… sometimes what we think is perfect for us might not be what we should really be looking for.  Most times we judge people by their appearances (I've done it too) and are easily mesmerized by the  attractive ones, sometimes one might not be truly happy in a relationship but would stay in it just because the person one is dating  is physically endowed so now the person is like a “trophy” girlfriend or boyfriend and not for the true sense of the word. If we look at it there are sometimes we fall for the most unlikely people, people who do not get a tick on any item on our list but there is just something about the person that makes you laugh, love to be in the person’s company, someone that makes you truly happy and loves you for you, in that situation you realize that that’s the person you truly care about. Sometimes you get the whole package sometimes some of the items are present and sometimes none are but the most important thing is it is not advisable to date someone because they seem “perfect” to you but because they are perfect “for” you! This simply means if someone loves you for you and you feel the same seize the moment, take it! be happy to embrace the sincerity of the bond, loving the person flaws and all.
P.S I think you should watch Beauty and the Briefcase... lovely movie.
