Mirror, mirror on the wall... Who am I?

The EYE!

You know that feeling you get  when you go somewhere and it seems like someone is watching you with
THE EYE!
This simply means a look which could be interpreted as someone sizing you up in disgust and disapproval, often known as the judging look.
Many people complain about this because in some cases it makes one insecure or feel terrible and in other cases some don't care because they are used to it and don't give a hoot about what anyone perceives them to be.
I could say we all might have fallen victim of this and some of us have done it ourselves but the question asked is what is the difference between counselling and judging?
many times I hear people say how often  they are told some things they do are wrong and maybe say they could do better, I have received such comments myself. Although it could come out a bit judgemental I think one should try to see it as someone trying to help. Let us look at it this way, if we think about it later and find out that there is an element of truth, frankly speaking I don't think there is anything wrong in changing the "bad habit" to a good one. We could just see it as another chance to improve on a defect we did not know was there and we could be brave enough to help someone out also to become a better person. I think we should all help each other to become better people. Wouldn't it be rather sad and lonely  if you were to be the only person in Heaven?
Sometimes people misuse advice either as a way to indirectly prove how "righteous" they are  or how "bad" they perceive one to be, well to such people I think they know the part of the bible which  talks about the Speck  and should be a good thing to ponder however, I think such people who fall victim to hypocrites could still take the advice because truth is truth (if it is true) and does not change even if the person saying the truthful thing probably lives a questionable life occasionally.
so the moral of the story is don't give someone THE EYE, we all have at least a tiny bone in our closets if not skeletons, no one is perfect...we just hope to be better.
